Cornerstone Building Group was formed with the intent of providing a different experience for today’s new home buyer. And by different, we mean taking a step back to an era when a builder took a personal interest in each and every home that he built. That is the mindset of Cornerstone’s two principal partners, Joe Nastasi and Natale Russo. Both are lifelong residents of South Jersey who continue to raise their families in the area. Together, they bring over 40 combined years in the new home construction industry to the company, each with a different background and area of expertise.

 

Joe spent over twenty years as a construction supervisor, project manager, and Vice-president for a large NJ builder and developer. In that capacity, he dealt directly with over 1000 new home buyers in the area and learned the things that were important to them and what things could be implemented to improve the overall building experience. He personally deals with each buyer from the time the contract is signed to the day when they make settlement on their home, and beyond.  By treating the buyer as a partner in the building process rather than just a name on a contract, Joe believes that that personal relationship allows Cornerstone to deliver a home of the finest quality.


Natale is a second generation builder and has spent over 25 years in the industry as both a successful entrepreneur working for many of the area’s largest home builders and commercial developers, and also continuing his family’s involvement in the new home building and remodeling field. It is his valuable experience of being on both sides of the construction process as a subcontractor and a builder that enables him to have a unique perspective on how to create a cooperative environment to continually maintain Cornerstone’s commitment to excellence. Over the years, they have built a network of fine craftsmen, tradesmen, and suppliers who are each aware of the high level of quality that Cornerstone demands and expects.


Above all else, Cornerstone believes that the relationship between the builder and the client goes far beyond the just the home itself. Through its customer service and warranty programs, and Natale and Joe’s desire to build homes of the highest quality as well as build lifelong relationships with their clients, Cornerstone Building Group continues to distinguish itself in the new homes market.
